Day 3 - I could be getting used to this?

Today has definitely been better than yesterday. I'm getting used to plain porridge, and the vegetable soup for lunch is quite tasty, my one bug-bear at the moment is the rich-tea biscuits. They're my only source of 'snacking' food and I'm soooo bored of them, what I'd do for a chocolate hob nob right now!!!
As breakfast, lunch and my snacks have been a bit repetitive I tried to rustle up something new for dinner from the ingredients I had left. With an onion from the garden, one jar of Tesco value pasta sauce, one tin of kidney beans and a can of new potatoes I made probably the strangest pasta sauce I've ever come across... and this has to last me the rest of the challenge. I tried the Tesco sauce before I added the rest of the ingredients and it was disgusting, seriously vile, it tasted so metallic and sweet I was fearing the worst for the next few days. But luckily after frying the onions they masked the a majority sweet taste. As a dish the pasta isn't actually too bad, it has a really nice texture as the potatoes were soft, however I'm just seriously yearning for my spice cupboard, I'm constantly tired and I'm putting it down to my lack of spice (or more realistically my lack of sugar & caffeine). Just two more days to go until I get to  shower myself in chocolate and fresh fruit & veg, plus I'm only £8 from my £100 target which is great news, so smiles all round!
