Breakfast - My final bland stodge (porridge just isn't the same without milk!)
Lunch - Today at work I got the delight of eating a banana on my break, which tasted amazing compared to the cardboard like rich tea biscuits I'd been consuming all week, and lunch was leftovers from Tuesday's pasta bake.
Dinner - I was really scrapping the barrel for dinner on my final day, so I was left with two poached eggs on a toasted roll with a measly portion of vegetables. There wasn't definitely more to be desired after this meal.
Surprisingly these 5 days have actually passed quite quickly, I think working whilst taking the challenge has definitely kept my mind off food and prevented me from being naughty! I've noticed that the lack of fresh fruit and vegetables have caused my skin to break out in spots and the lack of protein and sugar has left me feeling constantly tired. However this was an experience 100% worth taking part in, it's opened my eyes to what I privileged life I lead, so many people around the World are living on worse terms than these and I bet they haven't complained nearly as much as I have in the past few days. I encourage everyone to take this challenge and support The Hunger Project.
